For my first post, I am so excited to give credit to ASADA Restaurant! ASADA started out as a food truck selling mission style tacos, nachos, burritos, and quesadillas. Their menu’s inspiration comes from the Mission District of San Francisco, a multicultural Latino neighborhood influential for introducing Latin food and Art to the US. While ASADA still has their food truck, which they call “Lola” and was a pioneer as the first one in her category, they now have a vibrant and inviting restaurant located close to downtown on Wade Hampton Blvd.
